We are stopping coverage for a few days
Hi, my name is Shrehith and I am the lead editor at Finshots. Over the past 20 months or so, the team at Finshots has strived to publish one easy-to-read article on matters of policy, business, and finance each day. And while we may have skipped publishing on a couple of occasions, we’ve been pretty consistent with our coverage so far, despite being a very lean team.
However, that isn’t feasible anymore. Several colleagues of mine (or their family members) have tested positive for Covid-19 this past week, including my parents. And while we tried to stitch together a makeshift plan to continue our strict publishing regime this past week, I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to ask my team to keep working anymore. So in light of these developments, we are stopping coverage for a few days.
In the meantime, the rest of the team (who thankfully have no compulsions at the moment) will join hands with the team at Ditto Insurance — an advisory platform we started a few months ago. This isn’t how we intended to make the announcement, but considering people are desperately looking to buy insurance to protect themselves and their loved ones, this is the least we could do to help the community.
Also, considering a few lakh people read us on a daily basis, we thought we could disseminate some useful COVID resources. Maybe it’ll come in handy someday or perhaps it could be a way for you to pitch in as well.

Once again, we will likely be back in a week or two, when things start looking up. But until then, stay safe and take care.
